1935 – 2024

A lifelong sailor with a passion for building the fastest sailboats in the world. He founded Lindenberg Yachts in Cocoa, FL where he produced more than 150 boats.\n\nOne of his most celebrated creations, a 60-foot sloop Thursday’s Child, won the 1984 OSTAR transatlantic race and shattered the 135-year-old world record for the fastest sailboat to pass from New York to San Francisco via Cape Horn.
