Founded by Reinhard Genzel. The company was formed initially to sell boats of the de Kloet shipyard to German customers.\r\n\r\nBeginning in 1976, hulls are no longer manufactured in Hagen, but in Holland at Dekabo.\r\n\r\nAfter the company folded, Genzel contines to build boats in small numbers. He founds the company "Phantom Yachten GmbH & Co KG", continues to expand the hulls delivered from Holland on a small scale. He built a few ships until his death in 1985.
