Founded by John Barnett, designer and first builder of the BUTTERFLY class scow. First located in Libertyville, IL and then Kenosha, WI. The company was sold to Hedlund Industies in 1972 and production was moved to Green Lake, WI. \r\nIn 2007, the assetts were purchased by Windward Boatworks of Middleton, WI.
