J/36 production began in 2025 with Hull #101 and shares the same hull, keel, rudder and rig as the J/112E while incorporating a number of new improvements including a new deck with twin wheel steering, expanded companionway with additional ladder step and clearances, captive drop-down drop-board and some improved interior cabinetry and detailing.
