Notes: aka FISHERS ISLAND 24\nSailed at Fishers Island for 10 years, after which they were sold as a fleet to Gibson Island YC on Chesapeake Bay. \nOriginally gaff rigged sloops. Re-rigged as Marconi/Bermudian sloops in 1929.\nAt least 14 were said to have survived into the 21st century and raced as a fleet at Groton Long Point YC in Connecticut. (no contact information has been discovered.)\nOriginal plans are part of the Charles D. Mower Collection at the Mystic Seaport Museum.\n\n(Eds. note: An article in 'Classic Boat' magazine, Dec. 2014 states that only 16 of these yachts were built, all in 1923, and that 14 survive. www.classicboat.co.uk)\nDimensions from various sources differ widely.
